6th - Native Plant Sale
Color Brighton Green, along with the Brighton Conservation Board and several Color Your Community Green groups, announces the First Annual Native Plant Sale. Held Saturday June 6th from 10 AM to 1 PM in Buckland Park by the Winter Farmers Market barn, 1435 Westfall Road in Brighton. Featuring 13 growers of seed raised native plants, this will be the largest assemblage of native plants in the region. Organizations specializing in native gardening, habitat restoration and sustainability will have booths to answer your questions. A perfect opportunity for gardeners and everyone interested in a healthy planet to learn more about the value of native flora and put that knowledge into practice.
